Role Description: Engineers qualifying for this position will be responsible for supporting the development of ICs within Communication Power Group in Cloud & Data BU Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, working with other design group members to: Participating in Creating/Testing evaluation kits Bench evaluating new silicon with the designed evaluation kits to the product test plan Work with product definer in modeling the IC in Simplis Work with Cooperate Apps in creating application design procedure in Mathcad Working directly with customers to implement our products into their system Hands-on experience designing, programming, testing, and debugging Generating Application notes to showcase Maxim product solutions Develop User Guides and customer documentation to assist customers with designs Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering; Computer Engineering and Software Engineering degrees are applicable to some positions Maxim is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of electrical/computer/software engineering fundamentals 2 years completed towards a degree in electrical engineering.
