Job Description: Maxim is seeking an experienced ATE Test Development Engineer to support assigned products through the full product life-cycle. Assignment will be in Maxims Automotive business unit with a focus on power products. Applicant must be goal oriented, self-driven, have high professional standards and be able to work individually or as part of a team. Duties will include: Design of component-level circuits for precision parametric measurements. Development of automated test system solutions on analog and mixed-signal automatic test equipment. Involvement in all phases of product development including design for testability, test hardware and software design, debug, characterization, and release to manufacturing. Responsibility for planning and tracking project schedules and resources and documenting all phases of project development. #LI-MC1 Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field and 2+ years of experience in the position being offered or a closely related occupational experience. Background in analog systems and circuits. Good programming skills. Experience with C, C++ or VBA is preferred. Component-level circuit design skills. Good trouble-shooting skills. Understanding of statistical methods and data analysis tools. Experience developing ATE programs for DC/DC Converters, LED lighting, USB, LDO or similar products. Experience developing ATE programs for devices with scan and digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART) a plus. Teradyne uFLEX, FLEX, ETS experience is preferred. Experience with lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, and DVM.
