Pay Grade Salaried Grade 5 Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (other days and hours as needed) Job Summary The Employee Health Services (EHS) Administrator will oversee departmental operations in the development, implementation and evaluation of EHS strategies and goals. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Provide direct supervision (assignment of work, hire, discipline, evaluation, training and development) to departmental personnel, including professional and clerical staff * Administer and serve as an expert resource on various programs governed by federal or state requirements such as: FMLA, ADA, WC, DOT and OSHA * Develop, monitor, evaluate and recommend EHS policies, procedures and protocols * Administer company programs such as early return to work, placement of transitional employees, medical transfers, reasonable accommodations and leaves of absence * Work in close cooperation with managers and supervisors at all organizational levels * Provide health services to employees within the scope of the State of Virginia Nurse Practice Act * Actively promote accident/illness prevention in conjunction with Safety, HR and operational departments * Actively foster employee health and wellness through structured programs and initiatives * Assist in the selection of external service providers and monitor their quality and service * Propose, monitor and manage annual EHS budget * Act as the manager of medical records in accordance with federal and state regulations * Occasional overnight travel may be required to attend meetings and workshops Required Qualifications * Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role * Current Virginia RN License CPR certified * Bachelor's degree (BSN or related field preferred) * Minimum of at least one (1) year supervisory experience * Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse (or obtain within one year of hire) * Excellent planning and organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations * Must be a team player and work effectively within a matrix organization * Must advocate positive change and continuous improvement * Must be computer literate * Experience with administering various Federal/State regulations such as FMLA, ADA, workers compensation, drug/alcohol testing, OSHA and DOT * Willing and able to travel as needed Benefits * Competitive pay scale * 401(k) with matching contributions * Health insurance, including prescription drug plan * Dental insurance * Vision care plan * Life insurance * Paid time off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) * Direct deposit payroll * Credit Union * Shift differential pay * Exercise and recreation facility * Profit-sharing program * Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance (Premiums Paid by the Company) Please upload your current resume to be fully considered for this position.
