    SUMMARY – BASIC FUNCTION OF THE ROLE

     

    Lead development, improvement, and implementation of the organization’s Quality System. Assure all product specifications and product regulatory requirements are met. 

     

     

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    1. Assure all aspects of the Quality System (ISO 9000) are developed and implemented, concentrating on permanent corrective and preventative actions to enhance system capability. 
    2. Educate associates and management in effective quality assurance practices and systems. 
    3. Work with local and global affiliates to ensure all customer specifications are met and customer satisfaction is a focus through all phases of the operation. 
    4. Support the Supplier Development Process to continuously improve organizational measurements. 
    5. Provide technical guidance and facilitate problem-solving methodologies regarding quality-related issues. 
    6. Develop and maintain appropriate World-Class measurements to drive improvement activities. 
    7. Support quality assurance activities including special projects as assigned.

    4. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of four years’ experience in a technical capacity in (Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing); ISO 9000 System management experience; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certified (preferred)

      

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

     

    Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to travel to a variety of work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time, as well as sitting for a period of time due to travel.

     

    Approximately20% of travel within region.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

     

    Employee’s work environment will vary from day to day from either office environment or climate-controlled manufacturing facilities.

  • Qualifications

    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  CPR certification preferred. Certified Personal Trainer and previous fitness experience also preferred.  Computer and clerical skills also necessary.
