    As a Mechanical Engineer , you will play a key role in developing new and improved products while solving production challenges. You’ll use SolidWorks extensively, but hands-on problem-solving, prototyping, and clear communication are just as important. You’ll have access to a full machine/fabrication shop and 3D printing , as well as direct collaboration with trusted local and overseas suppliers from prototype to production.

    This is an in-office position in Elyria, OH.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop new products and improve existing products, from concept through production
    • Collaborate with cross functional product development team members
    • Create engineering specifications, drawings, and test plans
    • Work hands-on with machining, fabrication, and prototyping tools
    • Support regulatory compliance, including FDA-compliant design documentation

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    Job Requirements:

    Mechanical engineering degree required
    SolidWorks proficiency required (experience with surfacing/NURBS modeling is a plus)
    ✔ Experience creating engineering drawings
    ✔ Hands-on mechanical design experience outside of classwork required
    ✔ Some fabrication or machining experience necessary
    ✔ Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
    ✔ Ability to thrive ! in a hands-on, blue-collar work environment

    Preferred Qualifications (Assets):

    • Aesthetic or ergonomic design experience
    • Experience working with manufacturers or vendors (especially overseas)
    • Experience in the medical or rehab industry
