Assist project engineers with the design, development, and release of new Carrier Transicold Container transportation products. Support and release new product development projects and product improvement initiatives from the concept stage through production implementation. Support project engineers in evaluating field failures, failure analysis, and timely implementation of corrective action plans.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Proficient in mechanical design
Experience with wiring, connectors, harnessing
Familiarity with HVAC&R equipment and systems
Experience in new product design and qualification
Proficient in modern experimental methods, instrumentation, and measurement systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-directed and highly motivated
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Possess analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design and implementation of electrical/mechanical systems for container refrigeration units
Design and implement required experimental facilities: plan/supervise experiments and monitor data acquisition
Plan and conduct experiments in the lab along with using modeling tools
Hands-on experience in a related field or previous experience are desired
Self-motivated problem solver to system design challenges.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Strong communicational skills with proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams
Pursuing a BA/BS/MA/MS in mechanical engineering
GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
