This role will drive operational efficiencies within specified territories (i.e., paperwork collection, marketing campaign support, CareLink software/technical support, EPNP conversion, NPT generation). This role will serve as a liaison between the field, inside teams and customers and TM in training. A DAY IN THE LIFE: * Partner and shadow with field sales and clinical team across an assigned district. * Facilitate any paperwork (Medtronic or Dealer) collection needs in the office/patient and coordinate with inside team. * Services include paperwork collection for patient insurance processing, taking responsibility of faxing, contacting patients for information and making sure all insurance requirements are fulfilled. * Provide CareLink technical support. * Partners with Field Marketing Manager, DM, and TM to drive local marketing campaigns and events. * Fulfill and distribute marketing collateral to specified accounts. * Assist TM and DCM with EPNP and NPT production. * Utilize local phone number to call OOW and SWR. * Work with TM to identify gaps in HCP office efficiencies for paperwork collection. * Implement strategies to streamline processes to create a pathway for new patient growth. * Collaborate with TM and DTS to review and manage pipeline. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: * Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals. * Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services. * Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. * Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities. * Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed. * Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing. * Will partner and shadow TM and DCM to Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE BE SURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME * Bachelor's degree NICE TO HAVE: * 2 years of sales or customer support experience (field or inside) OR 1 year clinical experience in a sales environment. * Knowledge of sales techniques typically gained through education and / or on the job learning. * Introductory knowledge of company products and services. * Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred. * Demonstrable, consistent success in previous roles indicated by high level of sales performance * Experience being accountable for sales quotas in a challenging, fast paced, changing environment. * Prior experience and knowledge of diabetes, unmet needs of diabetes therapies, and benefits of insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring. * Previous experience in a high volume telesales call center environment. * Strong customer focus in delivering sales and building relationships. * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Ability to effectively navigate through databases and retrieve information electronically. Ability to quickly learn new programs and systems. * Ability to multi-task effectively, and to work both independently and in a team environment. * Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities. * Hardworking driven individual with effective persuasion skills. * Ability to understand and solve underlying causes of simple or complex problem. * Strong attention to detail by being exact, precise, and accurate. * Must successfully complete training.
