As a postdoctoral fellow in Merck Research Labs Pharmacometrics group based in Rahway, NJ, you will work on characterization of immune effects of oncology drugs based on data from in-vitro, preclinical and clinical studies utilizing quantitative modeling and analysis methods. This work will inform drug combinations in the area of immunoncology, specifically investigating the immune effects of different classes of chemotherapies (e.g., alkylating agents, anthracyclines, taxanes, epipodophyllotoxins, vinca-alkaloids) and optimal dose selection in combination treatments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Assembling and exploring biology, pharmacology, preclinical and clinical data from literature and in-house experiments. -Quantitative modeling and analysis. -Work with multidisciplinary scientists from preclinical and clinical areas of research. mrlpostdoc Qualifications Education Minimum Requirement: -A PhD with less than (3) years of postdoctoral experience OR graduating with a PhD by summer of 2019.Required Experience and Skills: -Familiarity with data modeling and analysis. -Experience in one or more of the following areas: quantitative modeling, oncology, immunology.Preferred Experience and Skills: -Coding using Matlab or R.
