As a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Chemical Biology Chemoproteomics group based in Boston, MA, you will work with an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of scientists to design and implement novel chemical, analytical, and biological methods for investigating antigen presentation, primarily through proteomic technologies. This work will enable understanding of antigen presentation biology and improve capabilities for cancer neoantigen discovery towards development of oncology vaccines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Developing and optimizing innovative biochemical and proteomic workflows. -Establishing tumor models to evaluate immunopeptidome modulation. -Bioinformatic analysis of deep datasets. -Presentation and publication of experimental results. mrlpostdoc Qualifications Education Minimum Requirement: -A PhD with less than (3) years of postdoctoral experience OR graduating with a PhD by summer of 2019.Required Experience and Skills: -Experience in common tissue culture techniques. -Experience and working knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology techniques including Western blotting, immunoaffinity precipitation (IP), and transfection. -Ability to learn and operate independently. -History of publication in peer-reviewed journals. Preferred Experience and Skills: -Background in cellular immunology or the application of proteomics or peptidomics for immunology research. -Hands-on experience in mass spectrometry is beneficial but not necessary. -Working knowledge of bioinformatic tools; preferably experience with R or a scripting language. -Experience in culturing primary cells, organoids, or other 3D culture systems. -Knowledge of chemical biology approaches and their applications.
