As a postdoctoral fellow in the Pharmacoepidemiology Department based in North Wales, PA, you will work with a highly collaborative team of pharmacoepidemiologists to design, assess the feasibility of, and conduct epidemiological studies in support of vaccines targeting respiratory diseases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Take part in epidemiologic research projects, including feasibility assessment, protocol preparation, study design, study logistics, data summary, and technical reports. -Perform analyses to process and summarize epidemiological data. -Prepare reports to communicate epidemiological study results to cross functional teams, internal committees, and external investigators. -Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills. Present at professional scientific meetings and publish research findings. mrlpostdoc Qualifications Education Minimum Requirement: -A PhD with less than (3) years of postdoctoral experience OR graduating with a PhD by summer of 2019.Required Experience and Skills: -Experience in the successful direction of epidemiologic projects. -Knowledge and experience in the application of epidemiologic approaches including statistics. -Familiar with software packages used to process epidemiologic data. -Creative problem-solving ability and strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience and Skills: -Background in Infectious Diseases (ID, respiratory in particular) and some experience in conducting ID and/or vaccine epidemiological studies and activities.
