TheMerck Research Laboratories Quality Assurance Good Laboratory Practicesgroup provides GLP regulatory and Quality oversight including advice to our Toxicologyand in house regulated bioanalytical & clinical vaccine laboratoryfunctions. Collaborate with scientificstakeholders to assure the new product development research meets global Health Authorityexpectations for new drug approvals. The intern position within MRLQA GLPwould be involved with aspects of supporting activities related to preclinicalarea submission timelines in compliance with appropriate governmentregulations, company policies and departmental SOPs particularly in the area ofquality metrics. Work is primarily achieved by individual or through teams withguidance. The intern will also have the opportunity to gain an understanding ofthe drug development phases through the support activities Thisis a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available aspart of this program and must be funded 100% by the student. FTP2019 FTPMRL2019 Education: Required: Candidates must be currently enrolled in anundergraduate biology or chemistry degree program.
