Assembler Mickey Truck Bodies - High Point, NC Job Summary The assembler performs repetitive work-station or line-assembly operations to produce Van Body components or to assemble those components into a completed truck body/trailer by performing the following duties. Responsibilities and Duties * Ability to read and interpret data * Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

• Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools. * Operates press brake to assemble sheets. * Operates automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls. * Performs body work on vans/trailer bodies. * Performs carpenter-related work. * Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes. * Installs lights and wiring. * Operates fork lift as required. * Operates saws as required. * Moves material with appropriate equipment throughout the work area as needed * Clean up work area daily * Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
• Performs related duties as needed by supervision. Physical Demands * Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. * Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel Work Environment Manufacturing Work Environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical part and exposure to weather. Qualifications and Skills * 1 Year Assembly experience * High school diploma or GED * Maintain a safe work environment, achieve productivity goals, and be familiar with the quality standards * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions * Must be able to read a tape measure * Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
