ID: 115183 As a Test Engineer Intern at Micron, you will be given an exposure to test engineering as it relates to memory devices. Usually this will be done in the form of being given responsibility for a certain project(s). These projects may include but are not limited to developing, debugging, and maintaining test code for product support, gauge R&R studies, and/or scripting and data analysis with regard to test results. In this position, you will be expected to learn test engineering fundamentals as they apply to the product, tester, and any software that needs to be developed. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: analyzing yield and testing issues; implementing and qualifying test time reductions; developing and implementing engineering monitors; and analyzing and implementing corrective actions for QA/customer returns. You will be expected to interface with outside engineering groups to resolve issues when necessary. Some of the groups you may interact with include R&D, Process Integration, Product Engineering (wafer), and design to name a few. Qualifications: Successful Candidates for this position will have: The ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines The ability to work independently Excellent communication skills Unix/Linux/Windows knowledge C++/Python/Perl coding skills Preferred course work: Electronics/Electrical circuit knowledge Knowledge of digital systems and logic gates Knowledge of transistor operation Semiconductor device knowledge (preferred) Additional course work that would be beneficial (but not required): Basic understanding of the semiconductor memory process flow (NAND and/or DRAM) ATE (automated test equipment) course work and/or experience Education: Must have completed junior year working toward a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Must be continuing education in Fall of 2018 (Expected graduation date must not be before September 1st 2018) Note: Intended to fill summer of 2018 We recruit, hire, train, promote, discipline and provide other conditions of employment without regard to a person's race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, pregnancy, veterans status, or other classifications protected under law.
