    Intern - NVM Process Integration - Date: Aug 17, 2018 Location: Boise, ID, US Req. ID: 123123 Process Integration Intern Engineer in the NAND or DRAM or Emerging Memory Technology, R&D at Micron Technology, are responsible for executing on tasks related to memory device process integration as defined by the engineer owning the project. The tasks may involve setting up process flows, electrical characterization of analysis of data relating to electrical performance, process critical parameters such as Critical Dimensions, film thickness, film thickness uniformity, resistivity, dielectric strength etc. This position will work in a dynamic, multi functional organization engaged in the development of current and future Non-volatile Memory technology. The intern will also make presentations relating to work done in support of a project and will have the opportunity to contribute to innovation, participate in engineering discussions, analysis, and decision-making. As a team we are going to develop new memory technology which will have global impact in computing, lifestyle and other applications. Qualifications: For this position you will have: - Knowledge of the structure and function of the state of art CMOS technologies, electrical characterization techniques, and Design Of Experiments. - Some knowledge of semiconductor memory such as SRAM, DRAM, NAND, NOR, PCM, RRAM, MRAM, ROM, or advanced Logic or embedded Memory is helpful. - Understanding of Semiconductor Processing and Process Capabilities (Etch, Lithography, CVD, Diffusion, CMP). - Understanding of the following: Semiconductor Device Physics including CMOS and Bipolar transistors, diodes, etc, - Ability to understand impact of processing variables on device performance is a strong plus. - Semiconductor Materials and structure development knowledge - Good data analysis skills. - Experience with evaluation and analysis of scientific data and presentation of this data with recommendations. - Work well in a multi-disciplined team environment. - Strong communication, social, and presentation skills to organize and oversee work across multiple groups. Experience: - Prior intern experience, experience working in a R&D environment either in a University lab or in a company is a plus. - You are highly motivated, aggressive, and can execute complex process experiments and focus on solving problems either as part of a team or individually. Having excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills will help you succeed in being effective in this role. - Counted on taking primary responsibility for the development of a process module, and you will tackle new tasks, investigate and research literature when needed, and propose solutions based on experiments and results obtained. Education: - You are pursuing a MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
