Micross Manchester Is the leader in state of the art component preparation for the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry.

We are looking to hire an experienced multi-disciplined Component Preparation Technician. This position requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in high tech manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standard of quality. Hours for this position are from 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate machines and inspect product

• Ensure the work area maintains a safe and clean environment.

• Manual Tape and Reel Equipment

• Measuring equipment, such as calipers and comparator.

• Microscope

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with 3+ years of production process experience.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, semiconductor/electronics preferred.

• Excellent manual dexterity and eyesight to make fine alignment changes to tooling and work with small components.

STANDARDS/SKILLS

• Perform quality work at a fast pace, with minimal supervision.

• Work overtime, as requested.

• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions and read basic mechanical drawings.

• Oral and written communication skills.

• Experience with ESD controls, component cleanliness and soldering

• Understand basic mechanical mechanisms and electrical wiring and work directly on equipment.

• Attention to detail.
