    MICROSS MANCHESTER Is the leader in state of the art component preparation for the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry.

    We are looking to hire an experienced multi-disciplined Robotic Component Preparation Technician. This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in high tech manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standard of quality. Hours for this position are from 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Set up, program and operate Robotic Equipment and inspect components

    • Troubleshoot the production process, including tooling and equipment.

    • Assist the resolution of quality issues.

    • Ensure the work area maintains a safe and clean environment.

    • Become familiar with specific customer and industry specifications/requirements and ensure these are maintained at all times.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or equivalent required, with 3+ years of production process experience. Associates degree, preferred.

    • Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, semiconductor/electronics preferred.

    • Experience with surface mount technology, including hand soldering, preferred.

    • Mechanically-inclined, capable of adjusting equipment setup based on visual inspection of the finished product and understanding of the process.

    • Excellent manual dexterity and eyesight to make fine alignment changes to tooling and work with small components.

    • Experience working with a microscope.

    STANDARDS/SKILLS

    • Perform quality work at a fast pace, with minimal supervision.

    • Work overtime, as requested.

    • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions and read basic mechanical drawings.

    • Oral and written communication skills.

    • Experience with ESD controls, component cleanliness and soldering

    • Understand basic mechanical mechanisms and electrical wiring and work directly on equipment.

    • Attention to detail.

    SALARY INFO:

    $17 - $19 / HR
