    Business function:

    The Military Inlets and Exhaust team is a key player in developing and integrating our product designs at the highest system levels through the following activities:

    • Convert Customer requirements into a product architecture
    • Design, optimise and verify installation systems systems
    • Integrate the product within the platform and the sub-system designs within the product
    • Synchronise design iterations
    • Understand the behaviour of the product in service and feed that knowledge back into the design
    • Drive the development of ‘art of the possible’ product architectures

    What you’ll do:

    As a Military Inlets and Exhaust Intern, you will be a member of a project group providing detailed design and analysis of our product systems. This may involve working with Engineers performing integration and optimization of inlet and exhaust system designs into the customer platform. You may work with engineers delivering early product design studies, conducting design and analysis activity for development products, and/or designing improvements for current product in-service.

    What you’ll need:

    The eligible candidate will have or demonstrate the following:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Coursework within System design, fluid-dynamics, or aeromechanics and thermodynamics
    • Knowledge of C++, Visual Basic, or Matlab

    Relevant Majors:

    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering

    Standing/Graduation eligibility: Candidate will be working towards a minimum of a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year university.

    Minimum GPA: 3.0

    Work Authorization Eligibility: Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. There is no sponsorship for this role.
