    Engineering Technician in Brookfield, Wisconsin Date Posted: 9/18/2018 Type: Manufacturing Date Posted: 9/18/2018 Job Description Duties and Responsibilities Setup and maintain test fixtures and equipment Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed. Assist Senior Technician in critical and involved tests or run such tests under supervision. Perform diverse tests on the Company's line of accessory products and competitor products. Perform tests per work instructions and request procedures. Prepare reports of test results and make recommendations. Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database, spreadsheet and statistical/graphical software. Periodically direct and/or supervise temporary workers to properly perform manual testing. Basic machining skills Basic electronics understanding -- AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers Understanding of common machine component applications and assembly Other duties as assigned Lab Support Technician Maintain test equipment in good working order and in calibration. Assist Senior Technicians in the design and build of test fixtures. Education and Experience Requirements Technology related Associate Degree or equivalent military or formal training is required. Three to five years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures and methods, mechanical principles. Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components. Ability to work independently Experience working with SOMAT eDAQ and nCode Glyphworks is preferred.
