    Job Description

    Exciting cash application role on our Accounts Receivable team! You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of credit, deduction, and return transactions. As a detail-oriented individual, you'll manage customer remittance information, collaborate with financial institutions, and identify patterns for process improvement.     POSITION LOCATION:

    This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main office located in North Olmsted, OH to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    • Performs accurate and timely processing of all assigned credit, deduction and return transactions according to agreed-upon customer requirements and Moen’s overall business goals.
    • Process and track customer remittance information from the lockbox.
    • Cooperates with all initiatives to minimize short payments.
    • Manage accuracy of customer file banking information, including but not limited to additions, changes, and deletions to ensure integrity of the customer master information.
    • Manage communication with financial institution to ensure accuracy of data transmission.
    • Watches for and identifies patterns by customer, product or reason; relays pertinent information to Analyst and helps investigate and determine root cause.
    • Works closely with Business Units and Sales to ensure all issues are communicated and resolved in an expeditious manner.
    • Complies with all SOX and internal control initiatives.
    • Participates and brings subject matter expertise to Lean and continuous improvement events.
    • Identifies areas of potential process improvement.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 2+ years of experience working in Accounts Receivable
    • Ability to type 75wpm/15,000kph with exceptional accuracy

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate’s degree in an accounting or finance discipline preferred.
    • ERP system knowledge, SAP a plus
