    Job Description

    As the INNOVATION INTERN, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on development experience for the front end of our innovation and design process of new products. You will support the Innovation Product Management team to collect & summarize information that will enable us to drive short- to long-term growth within new or existing product categories.

    This is a YEAR-ROUND POSITION working full-time (M-F, 8AM- 5PM) during the summer and part-time during the school semesters around your schedule, ideally, up to 20 hours a week.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    • Participate in team meetings & assist with assigned activities to support cross-functional innovation teams: Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, R&D, Market Research, Industrial Design and Project Management
    • Support and participate in internal and external workshops to generate, screen, and optimize a diverse set of new product ideas
    • Assist with execution of research activities & report out communications
    • Assist in developing content & concept boards for new product exploration
    • Assist with location of data, data formatting and data compilation as needed to support business modeling, competitive landscape & pricing decisions
    • Support i10 process through data and idea management - partnering to support Innovation project management & product/prototype sample evaluations
    • Assist with administrative duties, meeting support and event logistics
    • Manage the maintenance of the Innovation Documentation Repository - keeping the tool up to date with the latest research report out puts and concept boards
    • Potential for right candidate to take on a small project that can be completed within their session
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Design or similar/relevant major
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrates resourcefulness as well as team and interpersonal skills to participate in cross-functional teams
    • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
