Responsibilities Performs receptionist duties and provides administrative support, primarily to the Human Resources and EH&S departments. Complies with all company safety rules and procedures. Assists in the recruiting process. Monitors online postings, reviews incoming resumes and dispositions applicants. Assists applicants with pre-employment process, and schedules interviews, testing and other pre-employment activities. Conducts scheduling for pre-employment process relating to information sessions, work keys and other assessments. Reviews and evaluates pre-employment information to determine candidate eligibility for interview. Makes preparations for candidate information sessions and work keys assessment testing. Performs background and reference checks for incoming candidates. Serves as primary point of contact for questions relating to recruiting process, including but not limited to online application status, interview status, information session and work keys status. Updates Human Resources spreadsheets as necessary, ensuring information is current and accurate. Creates and/or prepares information and reports for department and management use. Supports and assists in employee relation activities. Assists in preparation, dissemination and updating of local policies, notices, orientation materials, and announcements. Answers routine questions related to personnel administration and interprets policy where clear-cut procedures and rules exist. Coordinates tours and provides assistance with arrangements for visitors (catering, accommodations, etc.) Answers switchboard, determines purpose of call, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department in a timely manner. Takes messages as needed. Provides internal and external Customer Service. Greets visitors, determines nature of business, and notifies appropriate personnel of visitors arrival. Processes all incoming mail; Receives incoming packages and informs employees of deliveries. Schedules conference rooms and maintains master conference room schedule. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Actively Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred.
