Following good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development, this role will build product deliverables according to specifications, escalate technical design or specification issues to IT management and application development partners, working within a given time frame to complete all development tasks. Job Description Solution Developer, IT New and Emerging Technologies Molson Coors global IT organization is building a New and Emerging Technologies team and program, which will create a pipeline for enterprise-wide digital & IT innovation. Designed to identify, test, and scale emerging technology solutions across business units, this new program will extend Molson Coors commercial capabilities and transform operations through targeted pilots and prototypes. As part of this program, we are looking for a talented IT professional who is excited by this opportunity and brings that enthusiasm and technical capability in building prototypes and developing solutions around new technologies to deliver business value. Individual will be responsible for providing solution development support and technical guidance across a diverse portfolio of IT-led emerging technology pilots and prototypes. Role will provide hands-on support for development, deployment, and delivery for targeted initiatives, while considering how the design can scale and integrate with the overall MCBC Enterprise Architecture program. The successful candidate will possess a strong comfort level with a fast-paced, Trial-Test-Scale-Fail development environment, technical understanding of and experience working with new and/or partially-understood technologies, and entrepreneurial instincts for finding novel solutions to challenging problems. Recently graduated in a computing related discipline with intermediate level experience of modern programming languages and development frameworks (primarily C#, PHP, HTML5, Python, and Java) with some database and SQL experience preferred. Qualifications Education / Certificate Requirements: Required: College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Skills and Relevant Work Experience: Required: 2+ years experience with software development; including experience working with 3rd Party Service Providers. Communicates persuasively and effectively, both orally and in writing.
