Analytical Intern Position Title: Analytical Intern Position Summary: The intern will be responsible for the completion of assigned research projects in the area of analytical chemistry by using various techniques such as NMR, HPLC/GPC, GC and mass spectrometry following Momentive laboratory safety guidelines. He/ she will operate analytical instruments independently, interpret analytical data and write technical reports. Job Description: Primary Job Focus/ Responsibility: Determine chemical structure of materials from Momentive R&D locations by using NMR, GPC and Mass Spectrometric techniques. Develop analytical methods to quantify impurities or additives in Momentive products with HPLC and GC techniques Qualifications / Competencies: Solid general and organic chemistry background is required. Some analytical and physical chemistry course work will be helpful. Excellent organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
