    Agricultural Affairs and Sustainability Intern - Req ID 01UO2 Date posted 11/01/2018 We are seeking a motivated Agricultural Affairs and Sustainability (AGAS) Intern. This position will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting in to our Global Sustainability and Partnerships organization. This internship will work closely with the AGAS team and the successful candidate will bring creative thinking and apply his/her knowledge in developing sustainability strategies and partnerships with external organizations. Responsibilities include: - Determine necessary tools and relevant metrics for sustainability reporting - Engage with supply chain companies to determine needs and market size - Assisting with communications and launch plans of new initiatives and tools - Providing analytical support to team to identify improvement opportunities - Creation of communications, reports, and data validation - Work closely with the team to facilitate/manage data and KPI's Required Skills/Experiences: - Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Sciences or Sustainability at an accredited university located in the U.S. - 3.0 GPA or above on a 4 point scale - Must be returning to school or beginning an advanced degree upon completion of internship - Analytical skills - Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and synthesize - Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) - Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences - Attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once Desired Skills/Experiences: - Knowledge of agronomy or agricultural systems is a plus - Being self-motivated, independent, results-oriented, a networker and agile is beneficial.
