Packaging Engineer Internship - Business Development Position Location(s) US-PA-Monaca Job ID 2018-3191 Closing Date 10/19/2018 Job Category Eng & Technical Overview We are currently seeking a qualified candidate, who has completed their Sophomore or Junior Year, to assume a 6-Month Intern/Co-op position in our ARCEL Resins Business Development Team. This position will afford you the opportunity to work at the Beaver Valley Site in Monaca, PA (near Pittsburgh) for the Spring Semester 2019 (Jan-June). Responsibilities: Support Packaging Engineer on projects, activities and tasks Design protective packaging for a wide variety of products using the 3D solid modeling software and other digital tools Hands on creation of package samples using a 3-Axis CNC router, contour cutter and other prototyping machinery Develop case studies and project summaries Gather information in target markets and develop tracking tools for data Organize and track key activities with customers Support ARCEL Core team on daily activities to meet sales growth objectives Promote ARCEL Resins to best match customer needs and are aligned with business objectives Work with other cross functional team members including Field Market Development, Technology and Manufacturing when needed Qualifications: Completed at least 4, but ideally 6, semesters of study as a Packaging Science Major Well-developed computer skills in MS Office Suite Strong communicatorwritten and verbal.
