The advanced media development group at Western Digital seeks highly motivated individuals to work on novel nano-engineered materials, processes, and designs. These building blocks are critical to delivering the increasing areal density needed to satisfy the exponential demand for data storage on magnetic hard disk drives. You will be expected to:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will learn and grow with a team of technologists with decades of combined academic and industrial experience in applied physics, chemistry, materials science, mechanical engineering, electronics & electrical engineering, signal processing, software, and micro-magnetic modeling. This is an exciting opportunity at the intersection of materials engineering, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
