    Manufacturing Assembler (Temporary) NeoTract - Pleasanton Pleasanton, California Description About NeoTract NeoTract is a medical device company featuring a revolutionary technology called The UroLift® System. The UroLift® System treats BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) by lifting and holding the enlarged prostate tissue so it no longer blocks the urethra. It is the only BPH procedure that does not require cutting, heating, or removal of the prostate tissue. Over 60,000 patients have been treated with UroLift® and we are currently seeking exceptional talent to grow our organization. About the Position The Manufacturing Assembler (Temporary) performs mechanical assembly, electro-mechanic assembly and other value-added operations related to NeoTracts products. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities * Assemble medical device products for commercial and clinical use by following Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) and properly completing Device History Records (DHR) per cGMP. * Perform Line Clearance process and follow production control SOPs. * Work in a class 10,000 clean room environment and follow proper gowning and material handling procedures. * Properly use microscopes for extended periods of time to assemble medical device products. * Perform common manufacturing tasks using heat treating ovens, UV curing stations, hot boxes, package heat sealers, and hand tools such as tweezers, scalpels, and hand held grinding equipment. * Properly handle adhesives such as epoxies, cyanoacrylates, and UV curable glues. * Perform parts cleaning using ultrasonic cleaners and cleaning solutions such as detergents and isopropanol per OSHA compliance. * Participate in Quality Audit Teams. * Perform testing of devices and sub-assemblies using tensile tester (Instron type), torque tester, etc. * Train new team members and temporary personnel in proper manufacturing procedures and practices * Perform other duties as assigned. * Contribute to our culture of being collaborative, respectful, transparent, ethical, efficient, high-achieving, and fun! Qualifications * High School education, technical training equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment, or equivalent practical experience. * Medical Device Experience is preferred. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. * Ability to foresee and prevent risks and understand when to elevate issues to management and recommend corrective action.
