    Factory TAG Specialist POSITION SUMMARY: To support the development and introduction of new products, processes, and packaging, whilst continually reviewing existing practices to ensure compliance with Nestle standards. Seek improvements in manufacturing performance, product quality, cost, renovation and innovation. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * To develop technical and manufacturing solutions for new product opportunities through liaison with the category SBU(Strategical -PTC applications group-Factory-vendors. * Ensure full compliance (health-food safety and regulatory) with all Legal and Nestle standards for both internal and third party products manufactured. * To lead/participate in project activities and coordinate technical expertise within and outside the company to meet category objectives. * To continuously improve consumer acceptability as measured by 60:40+ through application or best practice for conversion of raw materials and use of packaging within financial viability. * To ensure that quality/consumer services trend data is translated into continuous improvement initiatives * To keep abreast of competitor developments and self-manage enhancement of technical knowledge through establishment of network contacts both within Nestle. * Coordinate any and all product/packaging trials to completion by utilizing resources from all functions i.e. safety, quality, maintenance, operations/mix team, training, finance, supply chain. * Alignment of the acceptance procedures SAT-FAT. * Technical acceptance of new products. * Achieve objectives. * Any other tasks assigned by the Factory Manager. ** ** REQUIREMENTS * Bachelors degree (Engineering, Business Management, Food Science/technology. * Must be a self-starter, results focused and understand Product and Process knowledge. * Must be flexible to work any shift- extended hours & weekends to accomplish tasks. * Must demonstrate a strong work ethic-integrity and courage to speak up and take actions. * Proven track record of delivering results through others. EXPERIENCE * Minimum Three (3) years food industry manufacturing, packaging experience working with both hourly and salaried personnel. Success leading projects in different departments and functions. Exposure to implementing continuous improvement, employee involvement techniques, and change management. Implementation experience of TPM preferred. * Experience in different factory and or R/D positions. * OSL, Line management i.e. staffing, training, execution of new products/packaging. * Technical knowledge of ice cream manufacturing. SKILLS * Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. * Developed ability to build personal relationships based on trust, mutual respect and open communication. * Developed ability to ensure working relationships are harmonious and are focused on achieving common objectives. * Knowledge of Nestle Technical and quality food safety standards and system. High energy level and excellent follow up skills. Creative problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
