Currently, RG is looking to hire a Data Scientist to support our Air Force customer. This role will be critical in supporting our customer’s overarching mission of optimizing business operations within and across the federal acquisition enterprise. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for data maps, models, and cleaning, identifies hidden patterns, solves problems with data, and extracts meaning from and interpret, to include predictive, data.  They will be expected to create data products that deliver actionable insight, take data and turn it into relevant business stories, discover the unknowns, define, test a hypothesis, and run experience to help our customer understand how they can use data to drive informed and valued business decisions.  The chosen candidate will also be required to:

• Optimize the procure-to-pay process
• Take data analytics to data science
• Take expertise-driven culture to a data-driven organization
• Evaluate how to take business rules to probabilities
• Collect, aggregate, and label data
• Help identify new techniques, tools, and instruments
• Learn from and optimize data for segmented experimentation
• Improve the quality of data making sure it is accurate, managed, and properly retained

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

• MASTER’S DEGREE IN STATISTICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR ENGINEERING (BACHELOR'S AND ADDITIONAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED)
• 5+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN STATISTICAL ANALYSIS, DATA MINING / PROCESSING, OR PROGRAMMING SKILLS
• KNOWLEDGE OF SAS OR OTHER ANALYTICAL TOOLS (I.E. QLIKSENSE, TABLEAU)
• PROVEN ABILITY TO READ, UNDERSTAND, AND APPLY XML & HTML CODE
• SECRET CLEARANCE (US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)

• KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE IN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ACQUISITION AND CONTRACTING PROCESS
• EXPERIENCE WITH QLIK, PBIS OR TABLEAU
• PRIOR GOVERNMENT CONSULTING EXPERIENCE
