    JOB TITLE:  BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST 

       

    JOB SUMMARY:  

    This position requires a motivation to transform business processes and be a functional business consultant.  Ability to translate business needs to technology solutions. Designs and improves business processes to ensure efficiency, accessibility, functionality, and superior user experience.  

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

    • Analyze user requirements and procedures to support automated processing and suggesting options for the improvement of existing business flows  
    • Work with customers to streamline business processes and realize efficiencies  
    • Document processes and procedures, utilizing both process diagrams and flow charts, as well as user-oriented diagrams  
    • Support departmental staff and administration with the identification, evaluation, selection, support and maintenance of systems solutions  
    • Implementing quality assurance methodologies covering test plans, change management, and problem management  
    • Planning and developing day-to-day policies and procedures to promote successful performance of administrative systems  
    • Preparing project status reports and keeping management, users, and others informed of project status and related issues  
    • Work on special projects from time to time.

       

     

    COMPETENCIES 

    • Strong functional knowledge of the business systems and process, including CRM and ERP Systems. 
    • Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate project status and provide leadership and direction for assigned initiatives  
    • Ability to work with functional business units and coordinate technological solutions to meet business needs  
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that strives to be Efficient, Professional, Innovative and Collaborative

      

     

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK 

    This position is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, generally 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. This position is a hybrid remote and will require the candidate to come to the St. John’s Queens campus as needed. In addition, the ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends, when necessary. 

     

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  

    Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of related experience.

    • Act as primary service point-of-contact for client teams.
    • Partner with account, creative and production teams to assess needs, develop strategy and coordinate projects.
    • Lead day-to-day management and optimization of projects.

    • Plan, coordinate and direct Creative Services teams to ensure the briefs are executed accurately and effectively.
    • Demonstrate understanding in each area of Creative Services including: print design, Web design, animation, print production and prepress.
    • Provide Creative Services teams with appropriate insight into client’s strategic business and branding initiatives.
    • Attend and set relevant client meetings, bringing in appropriate resources from Creative Services as needed.
    • Set project milestones, create project estimates and tracks schedules
    • Ensure all deliverable deadlines are met for all individuals and parts involved in the process.
    • Monitor client’s budgets for accuracy and timeliness.
    • Proactively manage client expectations.
    • Responsible for early detection of issues.
    • Trains other employees as needed.
    • Keep detailed records of time spent on projects
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
