The Department of Psychology is committed to academic excellence and to preparing students to function in diverse professional, academic, and research roles. SJU’s clinical psychology Ph.D. and school psychology Psy.D. programs are APA accredited. Both programs receive excellent clinical training at our SJU Center for Psychological Services. We also offer two master degree programs, including our M.A. in
general psychology and NASP accredited M.S. in school psychology. Responsibilities
The Department of Psychology at St. John’s University is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Assistant Professor position. The selected candidate will teach in person in our undergraduate or graduate programs at our Queens Campus.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a minimum of a master’s degree in psychology or a closely related field, with preference given to applicants who hold a doctorate.
The initial rank depends on degree and experience. The starting salary is $950 per credit for candidates without Ph.D. and $1050 per credit for candidates with a Ph.D.
