The Program Management group manages first-in-class, novel research projects by working with scientists and multi-disciplinary teams both locally and across global sites. As part of this team, youll help turn ideas into innovative medicines which improve people's lives. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain resource and portfolio databases in support of the Project Management portfolio Generate reports and analyze data for portfolio and resource planning Serve as the primary point of contact with global site partners, including Program Office and Portfolio Strategy Directors, to ensure databases and portfolio milestones are aligned Schedule and coordinate Institute-wide Project Review meetings as well as new Project proposal meetings Work with Scientists and Directors to support Research Platforms and Institute Initiatives. Compile meeting minutes and assure the completion of action items Posting Title Portfolio Coordinator - Novartis - GNF / La Jolla, CA Minimum requirements What you'll bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (ie Biology, Chemistry), with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a science-related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with outstanding attention to detail Strong analytical skills and ability able to analyze data. Proficiency in MS Excel required Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new ideas, and flexibility to adapt to requests as needed Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines Desirable Requirements: Working as part of a project team or collaborating with colleagues across scientific disciplines Experience curating a database and analyzing relevant data Why consider GNF?
