Fleet Specialist (4938-128) Tracking Code 4938-128 Job Description Numotion is seeking a Fleet Specialist to join our growing team. The Fleet Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Numotions fleet, including but not limited to ordering and delivery, driver and equipment auditing, maintenance tracking and reporting, claims management, telematics platform management, monthly metrics reporting/analysis and Fleet Manual and work practice creation, implementation and training. Key Responsibilities Monitor and ensure fleet operations are in compliance with local and state rules and regulations; provide recommendations for compliance. Standardize the fleet to streamline vehicle purchases and remarketing; negotiation of contracts. Use independent judgement to develop, lead and implement sourcing initiatives to reduce cost and provide year-over-year cost and quality improvements for Fleet, including up-fit modifications. Manage the organization and monitoring of fleet maintenance and registration programs; address concerns with Leaders. Manage the telematics (Azuga) platform, including vehicle assignment and monthly reporting, identify trends and flag concerns. Create, deliver and analyze metric reports related to operational costs (e.g., cost per mile), preventative maintenance and scheduling, aging, vehicle availability and incident claims; recommend policy changes. Integrate vehicle data with accurate driver/branch assignments and cost allocations, including bi-monthly or quarterly inventory audits. Review, approve and submit for payment lease and service billings. Develop and implement safety and use standard operational procedures maintaining vehicles by advocating best practices in industry. Manage vehicle accident reporting and incident investigation program, including post-accident training program using online EHS Management System and claims management process. Manage daily operational needs of drivers (e.g., fuel cards, fuel pin assignments, tolls, accident packets, etc.). Maintain and verify employee proof of insurance, drivers license expiration and MVR checks. Oversee the implementation and daily push reporting and dashboards for onboard monitoring program. Participate in fleet specification and selection process. Work with auto insurance carrier on vehicle coverage. Expected Travel 20-30% Qualifications Associates Degree required, Bachelors preferred Three to four years of Fleet Management experience preferred Certified Automotive Fleet Manager certification a plus Previous experience working with web-based fleet management systems Required Skills Ability to meet deadlines/deliver on promises Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities and work independently. Able to think strategically to assess a situation and make sound decisions Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel is required, including pivot table experience Why Numotion?
