Corporate Communications Specialist Job Description: The ON Semiconductor globalcommunications team has an opening for a corporate internal communicationsspecialist. The internal communications specialist will belocated in Phoenix, Arizona and will be a member of the corporate strategy and marketingdepartment. Though employed in the marketing organization, the corporate communicationsspecialist is responsible for supporting company-wide communicationsinternally. This is achieved through developing intranet upgrades, streamliningcommunication distribution mail lists, maintaining the groups metrics and keyperformance indicators, supporting the company store, working with companyaffinity groups and working occasionally at community relations/volunteerevents. The corporate internal communications specialist reports to the global internalcommunications manager within corporate strategy and marketing. Responsibilities: * Working closelywith members of each ON Semiconductor department to ensure open, accurate, andclear communication between all levels of employment * Updatingaccessibility of ON Semiconductors internal website to ensure employeeunderstanding and engagement; support SharePoint updates and redesign requests * Acting as thecommunications liaison with internal on-site committees and clubs, includingthe employee activities committee * Helping to planand communicate employee appreciation activities as necessary and execute on communicatingstrategies related to these activities or events * Managing the employeefeedback inbox * Maintaining thedepartments metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis * Acting as aliaison with the company store vendor to support online and on-site stores * Researchinginternational and local industry, personnel and product awards relating to ourcompany to build a pipeline for yearly award submissions * Condensing, streamliningand updating company employee email distribution lists * Collaborating withthe global communications managers to coordinate internal publication ofexternal communication activities, leader communications and all hands meetings * Researching internalcorporate communications tactics, processes, strategies and tools to ensurethat ON Semiconductor remains competitive and streamlined with our corporatecommunications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degreein communications, journalism, public relations or related discipline * 2-5 years ofcommunications, marketing communications, agency experience or a mastersdegree Additional Qualifications: * Self-starter withstrong writing, verbal communication and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to managemultiple projects and obtain results * Workingproficiency of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint * Experience in thefollowing is strongly desired, but not required: SharePoint, Photoshop, HTML,AP Style writing * Experience workingin a large, technical organization is a plus * Strength inworking with colleagues across the function and developing relationships at alllevels of the organization * Should beconfident and comfortable interacting with a wide range of people andpersonalities * Sound knowledge oforganizational communications methods, techniques and processes * High level of professionalism, integrity and ethics ON Semiconductor(Nasdaq: ON) is driving energy efficient innovations, empowering customers toreduce global energy use.
