    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    DEVELOPER 3 (R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company; Warrenville, IL) Design, develop, code, and test PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) systems using multiple technologies, including PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Java, SQL, HTML, XML, Application Engine, Component Interface, Oracle SQL, SQR and Unix/Linux. Analyze business requirements and data processing problems to support computer based data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems. Automate and improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. Develop and coordinate systems and system integration test plans and assist quality assurance testing teams. Prepare technical and design documentation, on-line help manuals, user manuals, operations documentation and FAQs. Apply HR and Payroll technology processes in order to set up the following: HRMS Tables, Payroll Tables, Payroll Tax Tables, Employee Data Tables, and Employee Data Systems. Assist in the support and development of the PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (Enterprise Portal) and utilize HCM tables, including Payroll for North America. Conduct business analysis, including process redesign and implementation. Assist with production support, application enhancements and human resource project initiatives. Develop and coordinate system and system integration test plan. Develop and maintain PeopleSoft code utilizing the appropriate technology to match the requirements. 40 hrs/wk, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.     JOB DETAILS:

    Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and PeopleSoft Security.

     

    Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Developing and maintaining PeopleSoft code using the following technologies: PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Java, SQL, HTML and XML; Utilizing Application Engine, Component Interface, Oracle, SQR, Unix and Linux to resolve HR systems issues; Designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting PeopleSoft HCM with Payroll; Identifying PeopleSoft HCM tables, their relationships, and purpose; Creating and staging test data; Performing and coordinating multiple Test levels within and across multiple HR systems and platforms; Applying HR and Payroll processes in order to set up the following: HRMS Tables, Payroll Tables, Payroll Tax Tables, Employee Data Tables, Employee Data Systems; Developing enhancements to payroll systems; Configuring and Managing PeopleSoft Security; Developing root cause problem resolution to break/fix incidents; Re-engineering existing HR system functionalities to improve quality, efficiency, and usability of HR systems; Managing all phases of systems development life cycle: Requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance; Conducting system testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing, performance testing, and regression testing; Utilizing Integration Broker, XML Publisher, AWE, Security to improve system integrations; and Preparing design and technical documentation to develop HR related functions.

     

    Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in Configuring and enhancing Person Profile systems and ePerformance systems.
