    Operations has a wide umbrella including manufacturing and assembly of material to our end product, ensuring materials are delivered on time and everything in between with logistics, quality, planning, and project management.

    The program:

    Our 12-Week internship program is designed to give you an immersive, hands-on experience where you’ll gain practical experience on real-life assignments that will bring your theoretical knowledge to life. Not only will you receive on-the-job training, but you’ll also develop a host of transferable skills that will help guide you in your career for years to come. The dynamic nature of our business means that no two days will be the same, and you’ll receive support and mentorship from a variety of people within the organization, all of whom will be committed to helping you deliver your best.

    This internship will teach you about Rolls-Royce as a business, how you can enhance your skillsets and breadth within the umbrella of operations and supply chain, and how to strengthen your collaboration with diverse and dynamic teams across functions and sectors, honing your passion and potential future path within Rolls-Royce.

    What you’ll do:

    You can expect to gain a real understanding of how our supply chain works and the role operations management plays in driving business results, whether through tackling bottlenecks, problem solving, process improvement, ensuring supply meets demand or even developing strategies and supplier management. It will be a structured yet adventurous journey to gain a strategic overview of our business and see how different teams work together to deliver on an international scale.

    Interns can be placed on a variety of teams including project management, planning, scheduling, continuous improvement, procurement, logistics, quality, and a litany of other options throughout our operations Organization.

    What you’ll need:

    Ideal candidates will have strong demonstrations of initiative, critical thinking skills, problem solving knowledge, interpersonal skills, self-management, curiosity, and ownership.

    Candidates will need to be able to/have:

    • Interest in supply chain and operations field
    • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment OR
    • Willingness to work in a customer interfacing environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
    • Ability to work independently without constant direct supervision
    • Ability to multi-task both practical, improvement-based, and strategic goals
    • Demonstrate how to identify a problem
    • Ability to collate and interpret data
    • Demonstrate written and oral communication to a variety of audiences

    Relevant Majors but not limited to:

    Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree.

    Relevant Majors are:

    • Operations
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Industrial Engineering

    Minimum GPA: 3.0
