    SUMMARY:

    The Regional Manager of Managed Care works under the direction of the Director of Managed Care and Physician Compensation to plan and execute managed care projects, research and provide analytical support of managed care Facility and Professional contracts, develop opportunities for new contracts, and act as the liaison with managed care payors, Rogers staff and the organization. A business development focus to work collaboratively with hospitals and joint advocacy efforts within the assigned state is a key objective of this role. Assists the Director of Managed Care in Rogers expansion efforts and the implementation of value-based performance with payors.  

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Ability to write/type accurately.
    • Flexibility as to work area and assignments.
    • Be tactful, helpful, courteous, dependable, flexible, efficient, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.
    • Need minimal supervision and possess integrity and initiative.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and have a positive attitude toward work at Rogers Memorial Hospital.
    • Ability to accept constructive criticism.
    • Work is sedentary, usually performed at a desk. Occasional outside walking between buildings to retrieve mail, etc.
    • Driving for meetings, conferences and other duties as needed.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or in behavioral health or at least 15 years in related field.
    • Background in contracting with managed care payors is preferred.
    • Background in accounting, or finance is preferred.
    • Strong analytic and problem - solving skills.
    • Strong understanding of managed care principals, payor contracts and health care billing and coding requirements.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and advanced communication skills at all levels of the organization is required.
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
