    Job Description

    The Marketing Operations team is looking for a detailed and driven Marketing Operations Specialist that is excited at the opportunity to support our corporate channel marketing programs. This role helps manage and execute foundational/corporate level programs with Optiv’s top partners to drive engagement with our channel at the corporate level and align these efforts with other Marketing tactics.

    Our ideal candidate will be extremely organized, have a “can-do” attitude, quite a bit of initiative to problem-solve, self-driven and a polished demeanor. You’ll need a passion for accounting and reporting type activities in addition to orchestration of multi-faceted activities and tracking.  The right candidate will be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including our channel community, to learn their processes, improve business outcomes, meet budgetary goals and ensure program effectiveness.  

    HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • Sponsorship acquisition and tracking for Optiv foundational programs within our channel community (joint landing page, blog, social media and sales enablement programs)
    • Oversight and facilitation of foundational programs within Marketing department
    • Invoicing for corporate channel/partner programs and tracking collection of invoices with our account team.
    • Responsible for creating and maintaining Netsuite trackers and marketing development funds (MDF) information for these programs.
    • Aiding and managing annual Marketing profit center in relation to our partner MDF
    • Responsible for reporting and analysis on corporate programs related MDF
    • Ensure budgetary alignment and goal attainment of foundational/corporate programs to overall department budget
    • Serves as liaison between Optiv marketing teams and channel partners specific to these programs and associated sponsorships.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

    • 3+ years in marketing, channel marketing, accounting, marketing program management or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and project/program management experience; able to coordinate and communicate with multiple departments; excellent teamwork and attention to detail skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting and invoicing principles required.
    • Experience working with IT product manufacturers and familiarity of marketing development funds (MDF) preferred.
    • NetSuite experience preferred.
    • Determined, motivated, team player - interest in positively adding to the Optiv team culture.
