    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Order Management Business Analyst will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and defining Order Management-related business requirements and translating them into scalable technology solutions within Oracle ERP and SAP ECC platforms. This position serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of initiatives that optimize the Order-to-Cash lifecycle.

    Position location – Hybrid (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) - Deerfield, IL.

    RESPONSIBLIITIES:

    What you will be doing

    • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to gather and document requirements related to order management processes across Oracle ERP and SAP ECC.
    • Evaluate current Order-to-Cash processes and identify areas for improvement, standardization, and automation.
    • Act as a subject matter expert in Oracle Order Management and SAP SD modules; understand data flows, business rules, and system capabilities.
    • Define and document functional specifications for enhancements, new implementations, and integrations.
    • Partner with IT teams to support testing (UAT, SIT), training, and deployment of order management solutions.
    • Facilitate communication between end-users, developers, and QA to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met.
    • Support change management efforts, including documentation, user training, and stakeholder communication.
    • Lead or support issue resolution activities and root cause analysis within the order management domain.
    • Leverage Agile practices for requirements tracking, prioritization, and delivery planning.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in Order Management process analysis and requirements gathering.
    • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Order Management and/or SAP ECC SD module, particularly in configurations, data flows, and business rules.
    • Strong understanding of complete Order-to-Cash lifecycle and related financial and logistics processes.
    • Experience translating business needs into clear and actionable functional documentation.
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communicator with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience supporting multi-system environments with complex integrations.
    • Familiarity with working in hybrid delivery models, including offshore coordination.
    • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with internal/external customers.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Order Management or SAP S/4HANA SD/Fiori a plus.
    • Working knowledge of EDI, pricing structures, and inventory availability checks.
    • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other Agile/project management tools.

    Additional Information:

    Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $99,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
