POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Intern will assist in administering and coordinating promotion and sale of Oshkosh Corporation parts and products at one or more business unit locations. This position will serve as the liaison between customers and the company in providing information concerning pricing, contracts, scheduling, billing, shipping, quality, forecasting and other requests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Maintain data integrity on item masters in all branch plants. -Update safety stock, lead times and stocking type as needed. -Use statistical analysis to determine best fit material plans for parts -Support production part needs by responding to buyer requests. -Support customer needs by analyzing and initiating line transfers as required -Prepare reports for Parts Manager to analyze. -Learn and employ OOS tools in daily work and in continuous improvement efforts -Other duties and project work as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field throughout the entire duration of the internship. -Graduation date after May 2019. -Position is located in Oshkosh, WI; must be willing to relocate or commute to Oshkosh, WI for part-time hours during the school year (20+ per week) and full-time hours during the summer. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -Ability to learn new programs quickly -Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential -Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite -Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above -Individual must be a self-starter, flexible, highly organized -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strong analytical skills -Ability to follow documented standard operating procedures -Drive for continuous improvement Oshkosh Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
