    MISSION / SUMMARY:

    The HRBP supports human resources initiatives, processes and programs and acts as a business partner to select groups. This role is responsible for providing support and guidance on matters relating to employee relations, performance management, human resources policies and procedures, compensation and benefits, workers compensation and state/federal employment law.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments for supported groups. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications • Assist with day-to-day administration of human resource transactions, including completing all the necessary documents to hire, terminate and modify employee records • Data Analytics and Reporting • Assist employees with ADA & leaves of absence, including FMLA, short-term disability, and military leave • Lead the timely and quality execution of selected Annual HR processes and programs o United Way Campaign – North America o President & Leadership Awards o HR Recognition • Liaison with Payroll to ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, garnishments, charitable contributions, and other deductions • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development • Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law • Provides basic, first level HR policy and process guidance and support to managers and employees • Effectively balance role of employee advocate with the best interests of the business • Attract, recruit, retain and develop talent

    o Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition partners to recruit top talent (Christo Ray/HR Interns/LDP) o Work with managers and employees to create development plans o Identify high potential internal candidates through the talent review process o Support company diversity and inclusion objectives, activities and initiatives • Performs other duties as assigned

    BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 3-5 years of Human Resources experience; previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus • Experience working in Human Capital operating systems (SAP HCM strongly preferred) • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, ATS, (SuccessFactors, SilkRoad, etc.) preferred • Proven organizational, interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills, both written and verbal • Ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential information • Strong MS Office Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and additional advanced skills desired) • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and time management skills • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while prioritizing and adhering to strict deadlines • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems

    EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred • At least one year of human resource management experience preferred. • SHRM-CP a plus

    SCHEDULE DEMANDS: • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so. • Occasional overnight travel which may include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours. • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs. • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices. • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
