Job Description

This position is responsible for all aspects of financial support for programs of varying types, size, complexity, and level of risk. The candidate will be responsible for teaming with various internal functions including, Accounting and Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Pricing, Engineering.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
• Work with Program Managers and functional managers to effect timely and accurate preparation of contract estimates-at-completion (EAC).
• Provide oversight and performance of EAC, ETC, contractual reporting requirements, earned value reporting and variance analysis. Determine program risk, mitigation plans, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Develop monthly forecast as it pertains to revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses.
• Track financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results versus budget and forecasts.
• Research variances for discussion with management and propose recommendations and solutions where appropriate.
• Develop reports and processes that will increase efficiency.
• Recommend and assist in implementing and sustaining robust program control processes to improve financial results.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and FAR/CAS government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years in Finance or Accounting, experience with program/cost
• Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Results oriented with the ability to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to resolve finance and accounting issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of DFAR and Earned Value Management is a plus
