Description
Information Technology Interns at Caterpillar Seguin Plant perform the same challenging work assignments as our new full-time hires. We work with our teams to ensure that every intern gains the appropriate professional and personal growth necessary to be successful in a corporate environment. This position is a great way to gain hands-on experience by supporting IT operations at a world-leading manufacturing company. As a Spring intern, you will work up to 20 hours a week. Summer 2026 interns will work 40 hours a week from May 18th, 2026 to August 7, 2026.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following fields of study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics or any technical related degree at the time of application and throughout the program.
Must have 15 completed semester hours before the start of the internship.
If a transfer student, must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university.
Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (no rounding) at current institution.
Must be able to relocate at indicated work location for the duration of the internship and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.

Additional Information:
You must live within 50 miles of the work location: Seguin, TX and work on-site up to 20 hours a week.
Summary Pay Range:
$22.50 - $39.00
Intern Hour Rate:
An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
