Job Overview Responsible for shaping the experience of new and existing Parts Town team members, the Human Resource s Generalist is the primary point of contact for all benefits, payroll , and employee relations questions. Central to this role is a detail oriented approach, a willingness to delve into an issue to find and resolve the root cause, strong knowledge of benefits and payroll practices, and an innovative mindset to help with ongoing improvement of our current processes. Interacting with all levels o f employees, the Human Resource s Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day support including employee relations, record keeping, file maintenance, payroll and benefits administration. This unique and fast-paced role will provide a challenging opportunity for the right person who strives to increase their expertise and knowledge base of Human Resources. Responsibilities Serve as primary contact for employees on all benefit and payroll related questions Conduct benefit plan administration (i.e. Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, 401K, etc.); including facilitation of annual open enrollment , new hire enrollments and enrollment changes Respond to all employee relations issu es including employee concerns , leaves of absence, employee counseling, and exit interviews Oversee payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis, maintaining employee deductions and garnishments, updating employee information, resolving time card discrepancies with managers, and maintaining payroll files Enter new hires, terminations and employee changes (FLSA status, compensation, etc . ) int o ADP payroll system Conduct monthly and quarterly audits of payroll and benefit systems, to ensure consistent data and information Provide recommendations regarding payroll and benefits administration and/or system improvements Assist Human Resources Team with special projects and initiatives Basic Qualifications 3 -5 years Human Resources experience & Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field You share our values Safety, Integrity, Passion, Courage and Innovation and want to work with other like-minded teammates You possess an inquisitive personality with a desire to drive innovation Experience utilizing Payroll and Benefits software; ADP Payroll system preferred Sel f-motivated, detail oriented mindset A bility to adapt to change and drive innovation in a fast paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for tackling payroll and benefit challenges head-on Benefits At Parts Town we see employment as a reciprocal relationship; one where we set high standards for those who work here but also recognize and reward our team members for their contributions in the form of various company benefits.
