    Job Description

    Responsibilities • Play a key role in updating and maintaining material standard costs, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure their accuracy and efficient processing • Assist in the assembly/development of monthly packages to be utilized for financial management reporting, including variance explanations, forecast updates, scenario building and other analyses • Maintains, updates, and publishes key datasets utilized across Operations Finance • Identifies and contributes to process improvement projects • Assist in the development of the annual operating plan (budget) and monthly forecast cycles • Support monthly/quarterly close process as it pertains to operating expense management, general ledger reviews, headcount reviews, accruals, and other related processes • Examine financial data to ensure accuracy and for compliance with policy and procedures • Utilize financial systems • Manage and deploy daily KPI’s for the business • Analyze, synthesize, and translate data into key strategic inputs and insights that will drive strategic decision making at the executive level • Maximize long-term shareholder value while protecting corporate assets Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Requirements • 2+ years Finance experience (or equivalent), preferably in manufacturing environment • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; Must be comfortable working with and analyzing large data files • Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization • Self-directed and able to work well and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Hands on and able to work with minimal supervision • Superb verbal and written communication and project management skills • Strong attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills • Understanding of corporate finance principles: NPV, budgeting processes, forecasting, financial modelling, etc. • Good understanding of GAAP • Standard Costing background • Proven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and the strategic implications of different business approaches All listed requirements are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.
