    Accounting & Finance Internship US - OR - Portland -Job Description Job Description * Position Summary: Accounting and Finance Internship or Co-op (6mo) We are seeking highly motivated IMPACT players to join our world of manufacturing. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assignments will vary but will include exposure to several accounting functions: A/R, A/P, FP&A, Cost Accounting, various tasks as assigned to support department operations. The student will: -Apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations -Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner -Identify and recommend process improvements for specified projects -Attend regular departmental meeting -Participate in the monthly close process -Perform or review systems analysis, testing and documentation for existing processes -Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects -Participate with peers, project team members and other departments on a regular basis Basic Qualifications -Current student pursuing a bachelors degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field -Demonstrated results-driven leadership -Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities -Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills PCC Structurals is committed to a diverse workforce.
