Resource Intern assists the Human Resources department in completing
various projects, analyzing data, assists with hiring, processes
administrative duties and organizes various wellness events. This
position will work closely with all areas of Human Resources, but mainly
Talent Acquisition and Safety and Wellness. We are looking for an
individual that can work 20+ hours per week. This is a paid internship.
MAIN nbsp;DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. * Help with
the hiring process by doing employment verifications and background
checks. * Organize and attend various wellness events throughout the
year. This could include blood drives, races, wellness lunches, and
health evaluations. * Pull and analyze past employee data to establish
trends and forecasting for the previous year, and if possible, for the
upcoming year. OTHERnbsp; DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following. * Assist with various Human Resource projects. This could
include creating various flow charts, creating onboarding documents and
tools, standardizing workflows and succession preparation, scanning and
organizing files and documents, small project management opportunities,
and other projects that may come up during the upcoming year.nbsp;nbsp;
- Assist with any internal and/or external audits that happen throughout
the year by gathering specific data as required. * Learn the full cycle
recruiting process and begin to hire for various positions. * Assist
with data input into Workday. * Utilize a team work approach for all
projects * Promote Peckhams vision, values, and services to all
customers and stakeholders. * Assist in maintaining organization wide
quality standards. * Assist in the training of people with disabilities.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment. * Other related duties as
assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory
responsibilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Currently enrolled in an
accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a declared major in
Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related
degree * This individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills and
enjoy cultural diversity in the workplace.nbsp; * Strong communication
skills and ability to maintain confidentiality required. * Must be
familiar with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. *
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create charts and
graphs PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Familiarity with or ability to learn
Workday.nbsp; * Graduate student preferred * Ability to work 20-25+
