    Legal Intern - Summer 2019 Alameda, CA Legal Intern Penumbras summer intern program offers law students the opportunity to join a fast-paced in-house legal team in a dynamic, publicly traded healthcare company. Legal interns typically work closely with Penumbra attorneys on important legal projects. You may review and negotiate contracts or corporate documents, perform legal research, update compliance policies and procedures, and/or draft internal legal memoranda covering a range of topics relevant to Penumbra's global business. What You Bring * First or second-year law student at an ABA-accredited law school. * Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Previous experience that demonstrates keen attention to detail, and the ability to be resourceful and solve problems. * Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. * Intelligence, self-confidence and maturity to take on substantial responsibility. * Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Embody professional and ethical integrity. * Available for full-time (40 hours a week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2019. * Interest in working for a healthcare company.
