The Pepsi Lipton North America Sales Strategy group is a small team of professionals who are responsible for developing the category, competitor and customer perspectives to inform marketing innovation and enhance retail activation. The group supports the Pepsi Lipton North America team through identifying key marketplace trends, leading retail insights research and developing long-term selling and go to market strategy. The group works across the retail, regional and away from home teams and closely with PLNA marketing, sales, insights and finance. Our team operates as a highly-dynamic, flexible group. We pride ourselves on analytic rigor and intellectual integrity, grounded in a fact-based view of internal and external business realities, tied to tangible business objectives. Core Responsibilities Include: -Analytically strong and proficient in connecting the dots to bring insights to action -Proactively develop selling stories based on category insights in support of our sales team -Work with cross functional partners to identify opportunities, issues and solutions for the sales team to implement in market. -Use multiple data sources to develop regular and ad hoc reports to include opportunity gap, SKU rationalization, promotion analysis, item tracking, pricing studies, and sales performance trackers. -Socialize and gain sales alignment on key selling planks to support our AOP plans -Support GTM strategy and develop commercial insights for innovation launches, partnering with marketing team -Lead efforts in category news, competitive activity and performance monitoring as well as innovation tracking and on-going competitive deep-dive reviews -Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree -Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in any of the following fields: Finance, Strategy, Insights, Consulting, or Category Management -A background in CPG is strongly preferred, though not required -Candidates should demonstrate a background that supports: strong analytical and strategic thinkers, capable of developing points of view supported by the facts -Experience with analytical tools: -IRI and/or Nielsen Platforms and/or Business Objects -Advanced Excel capabilities including use of nested functions (i.e. Index/ Match) and array formulas -Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of personal motivation, analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills -Candidates need to be team players across finance, sales, insights and marketing functions with significant ownership of deliverables while working effectively with key stakeholders. -We value creativity, motivation, collaborative skills, analytical rigor and independence -Must be authorized to work in the United States Relocation Eligible:Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type:Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
