    Government Affairs Coordinator PepsiCo 8,912 reviews - Washington, DC 20004 The position reports to the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs, North America, and provides support to the State, Federal, and External Affairs divisions. This position provides coordinating and administrative support to the DC Federal Government Affairs team and specifically administrative support to the Senior Director of Federal Government Relations. The incumbent will provide communications support to the State & Local Government Affairs team as well assist with the PAC as necessary and be responsible for special events logistics and coordination with the External Affairs Senior Director. Government Affairs Communications: report to the Vice President, State & Local team; assist a Director for the Government Affairs team in communicating PepsiCos good work and stories to legislators throughout the country; create one-page deliverables; generate content for internal PepsiCo social media tool; create quarterly newsletters; plan and execute facility tours across the country for Members of Congress, Executive Branch officials and local officials; assist with creating a comprehensive communications strategy for the Government Affairs team; assist with executing stakeholder events by working with Corporate Communications to engage relevant media and develop press releases. Administrative Duties for Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs: provide comprehensive travel reservations; prepare and submit monthly Travel & Expense reports; schedule conference calls and meetings; assist with special projects related to outreach on Capitol Hill and the White House. Assist External Engagement Coordinator: assist the Senior Coordinator with managing and executing PepsiCo hosted/sponsored events, as well as manage product orders/donations and special external events and initiatives. Administrative Duties for DC office: proactively recommend and execute ideas and/or suggestions on improving efficiency in the office; support visiting executives; maintain product stock in the office.
